About us?

We are a community of volunteers who find our way to show gratitude and recognition to our "green" Chaialim, bringing from north to south a little "warmth of home", representing all those communities in the world that in one way or another They worry and watch over our chaialim.

We started with a small idea, so that a father could hug his son after almost a month of not seeing him once the war started and from that event, on November 5, 2023, we decided to continue and do more; We realized that we do much more than barbecues, we received smiles, hugs and even thanks from the soldiers, we understood that we were doing good for our heroes. We understood that we had the commitment and the way to do it.

And as the months passed, we became an NGO made up of volunteers, mostly Latino, diverse in religion, nationality and religiosity.

What do we do?

We bring our soldiers a little warmth from home.... and something delicious :)

Feeding is one of the most primitive ways of giving love, we do it as we know how... we know how to make roasts.
This is how we set out to show the love and gratitude we feel for our Jaialim.

We arrive at the bases, camps or wherever they call us with our grills, charcoal, kosher meat, salads, pitot and drinks, we find a little place, and we start... We light the fire, we grill the meat and the magic happens. The soldiers begin to understand that in that roast meat there is the message of "they are our heroes", "thank you for defending us", "continue taking care of us", "thank you for ensuring the safety of our children and that of the entire town."

We become the hands, arms and heart of each of those who want to tell them "Thank you, you are not alone." In that flesh is the symbolic hug of each of us to our soldiers. They deserve everything and more.

What resources?
Volunteers, time and funds.
Today we have a team of more than 40 permanent volunteers who help organize all the barbecues, who dedicate their time (several hours per day) to make each event an unforgettable experience.
More volunteers, mostly Latinos who live in Israel, and family and friends who visit us, who leave everything every time they can to join each event...
Foreign delegations, those who cross oceans not only to provide donations, but are present to hug and say thank you to the soldiers.
Once a Chaialim of the Asado, forever a Chaialim of the Asado, thus, when they return to their homes they become our ambassadors sharing and spreading our mission.

To do so, financial resources are also needed, the barbecues can only be carried out with donations that we receive from different people, institutions, groups of friends. Thanks to your generous collaboration we have held more than 200 barbecues.
Realizing the implication of what we do, we assume the commitment to continue, we cannot stop, because the chaialim deserve everything, because there are many of us who want to thank them and tell them "you are not alone."
Together we want to do it, together is our way of thanking you and supporting you
